Sanjay Behl will now be running the operations as the new Chief Operations Officer at Adani Group’s Cement division, Adani Cement. What exactly is he doing there? Let’s just say he will be managing caterers for some big names in the industry such as Ambuja Cements Limited, ACC Cement, Penna, Sangahi and doing herculean tasks of making a name for themselves and selling and merchandising. This is just one of the many strategic pieces of Adani Group’s chess board as they look to make a strong imprint in the competitive cement juggernaut.
Adani Cement was Sanjay Behl’s new responsibility and it is, without a doubt, in very good hands. For him it was a cakewalk having been the CEO and Executive Director at Greaves Electric Mobility. That company had and still has aspirations of becoming India’s most sought after electric vehicle manufacturers and under his leadership they did establish themselves as key players in the Indian EV market.
Prior to joining them Behl was CEO at Raymond Limited and had various positions at Relaince Group, Nokia, and Hindustan Unilever. His vast experience and knowledge in corporate transformations, brand management, and business operations will be extremely beneficial in his endeavor to help Adani Cement strive to the pinnacle of success.
