Unilever India has placed its trust in Ambika Sivadoss as Talent Head for India and HR Vice President of Home Care. This is a new position for Sivadoss that will mark her 16th year at the company. Unilever’s Nutrition division was spearheaded by Ambika as a Global Unilever Nutrition HR Business Partner based in Rotterdam. She also propelled HR for Supply Chain and Commercial operations across the Southeast Asian region.
Ambika’s professional journey perfoms an arc beginning at ICICI Bank, advancing to her current position at Unilever, and further enabled by the Tata Institute of Social Science education, as well as her master’s degree in Economics specializing in Finance, shapes her expertise. The intersection of experience and leadership skills empowers her to transform the people strategy for India’s Home Care system.
In this newly created position, Ambika will her based in Mumbai, will focus on talent identification and development, employer branding, employee engagement, and execution of transformational HR that will advance the corporate goals and shape the future of innovate Unilever India. Transitioning from her position as the Head of Home Care Business Unit, she will implement an agile, inclusive, and anticipative HR paradigm to drive success for Unilever.
This appointment underlines how Unilever seeks to cultivate leadership and develop talent across geographies, and Ambika Sivadoss is set to spearhead the transformation of Unilever’s India operations to be more customer-oriented and agile.
