Urban Company, the leading tech-enabled home services marketplace, has announced a strategic partnership with Dubai-based digital giant noon to expand its footprint in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. This collaboration comes as Urban Company gears up for its much-anticipated 1,900 Cr IPO, with the company recently filing its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP).

Through this partnership, noon users will be able to book a range of Urban Company’s popular services directly via the noon app. In the UAE, offerings will include hourly and monthly cleaning plans, deep cleaning, laundry, AC repair, plumbing, electrical services, and at-home salon, massage, and grooming services. In Saudi Arabia, the focus will be on home cleaning, deep cleaning, maintenance services, and at-home massage and nail care for women.

This expansion aligns with Urban Company’s ongoing international strategy and comes amid internal restructuring in Saudi Arabia. The company has initiated a joint venture to manage its Saudi operations, aiming to phase out its local step-down subsidiary, Urban Company Arabia for Information Technology. The move follows growing operational losses in the region, with a reported pre-tax loss of ₹23.4 Cr in the first nine months of FY25.

Urban Company, founded in 2014 by Abhiraj Singh Bhal, Varun Khaitan, and Raghav Chandra, currently operates in 59 cities across India, the UAE, Singapore, and Saudi Arabia. The platform, which connects users with trained and verified service professionals, has evolved from a commission-only model to include subscription fees, product sales to service professionals, and its Native D2C brand.

Financially, the company posted a consolidated net profit of ₹242.6 Cr in the first nine months of FY25, bolstered by a deferred tax gain. Its operating revenue jumped 41% to ₹846 Cr, signaling strong business momentum as it heads toward public listing.
