Tata Motors is excited to announce the launch of the Tata Curvv, a sleek new SUV Coupe. Following the recent introduction of its electric variant, the petrol version of the Curvv is priced at ₹9.99 lakh, the diesel version at ₹11.49 lakh, and the Dual Clutch Automatic (DCA) variant starts at ₹12.49 lakh. Bookings are now open, with deliveries scheduled for 12th September 2024. Please note that these introductory prices are available for bookings until 31st October 2024.
The interior of the Curvv ICE is a testament to modern luxury, featuring a sophisticated blend of burgundy and black that creates a stylish and inviting ambience. The four-spoke steering wheel is ergonomically designed for comfort, and the 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system provides seamless access to your preferred apps via wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The nine-speaker JBL audio system enhances your driving experience with rich, immersive sound. Front seats are ventilated and offer six-way electric adjustment for optimal comfort, while the rear seats have a two-step reclining function to ensure passenger relaxation.
In terms of safety, the Curvv SUV is equipped with an array of advanced features to keep you secure. It includes a 360-degree camera system for comprehensive visibility and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to enhance driving safety. Additional safety features include six airbags, electronic stability control, all-wheel disc brakes, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
The Curvv SUV stands out with its impressive specifications. It boasts 18-inch wheels, a ground clearance of 190 mm, and a water-wading capability of up to 450 mm, making it suitable for various terrains. The vehicle is built on Tata Motors’ new ATLAS platform, featuring a sleek, coupe-like design with striking LED daytime running lights (DRL) positioned above the front grille and LED lighting throughout. The ICE variants also come with stylish air vents, chrome accents, and practical front sensors.
The Curvv ICE will be available in an appealing range of colours, including Gold Essence, Daytona Grey, Pristine White, Flame Red, Pure Grey, and Opera Blue. It will be offered in four trims—Smart, Pure, Creative, and Accomplished—with a distinctive Dark Edition expected to join the lineup in the future.
1.2 L Revotron Petrol Engine: The 1.2L Revotron petrol engine delivers a proven turbocharged performance, whether navigating urban streets or cruising on the motorway. It features multiple drive modes—Eco, City, and Sport—tailored to various driving conditions. The engine is complemented by paddle shifters and a Smart E-Shifter for the DCA. The 7-speed DCA includes a wet clutch with active cooling technology, auto park lock, machine learning capabilities, shift-by-wire technology, and a self-healing mechanism, all designed to enhance driving efficiency and comfort.
1.5 L KryoJet Diesel Engine: The 1.5 L KryoJet diesel engine in the Curvv represents Tata Motors’ latest innovation in diesel technology. It offers best-in-class power, torque, and fuel efficiency, making it a standout in its category. Notably, it is the only diesel engine in its segment to feature passive SCR technology, which reduces emissions without requiring AdBlue refills, thus simplifying maintenance. The 7-speed DCA with E-Shifter includes multiple drive modes—Eco, City, and Sport—alongside advanced features such as a wet clutch with active cooling technology, shift-by-wire technology, self-learning capabilities, patented self-healing technology, and an Auto Park Lock feature.
