Mumbai-based interior design technology startup Flipspaces has secured $35 million in a new funding round, led by growth-stage investor Iron Pillar, with support from Prudent Investment Managers and Synergy Capital Partners. The round features both primary and secondary components, enabling early backer Carpediem to exit successfully.

The latest capital infusion will enable Flipspaces to scale operations across India, the United States, and the UAE, enhance its proprietary tech stack, and pursue strategic acquisitions to further strengthen its market footprint.

Founded by Kunal Sharma, Ankur Muchhal, Vikash A., and Mrinal Sharma, Flipspaces specializes in a tech-integrated design-and-build platform tailored for small and medium businesses (SMBs)a segment that accounts for nearly 60% of the commercial interiors market.

With an annual revenue run rate of $40 million and a footprint in over 15 cities, Flipspaces has achieved profitability in both India and the US, where it currently generates about 20% of its total revenue. The company has delivered over 8 million square feet of commercial interiors for a diverse clientele, including startups, multinational enterprises, co-working spaces, and retail brands.

The fresh funding will be channeled toward enhancing its VR-based visualization tools, scaling remote project management capabilities, and streamlining the design and execution process at scale. These initiatives are expected to strengthen Flipspaces’ position as a pioneer in technology-led interior design solutions.
