To boost the agency’s creative presence and promote expansion throughout Southeast Asia, Ogilvy has appointed Kunal Jeswani as the new CEO of its ASEAN business.
With more than 20 years of varied expertise in industries like CPG, telecom, auto, banking, and tourism, Jeswani joined Ogilvy in 2005. Successful campaigns for well-known brands have already been shaped by his leadership in markets like Malaysia, Singapore, and India. Under his direction, Ogilvy Singapore won the 2025 Singapore Creative Circle Awards’ Creative Agency of the Year title and was recently ranked Asia’s #1 Creative Agency by the Cannes Lions Creativity Report.
In his role as ASEAN’s new CEO, Jeswani will concentrate on consolidating the agency’s regional assets and fusing local knowledge with Ogilvy’s extensive global network to provide creative solutions that propel client success.
Additionally, Jeswani is renowned for his strategic leadership in well-known endeavors, such as starting a major sports league and overseeing national election campaigns. His broad experience and comprehension of the distinct dynamics of the area put him in an excellent spot to carry on Ogilvy’s development and artistic brilliance in ASEAN.
Jeswani was enthusiastic about the agency’s future in his new position, highlighting the opportunity to partner with ASEAN markets to produce exceptional creative work that has quantifiable commercial impact.
Ogilvy APAC’s dedication to regional leadership and its continuous efforts to strengthen and establish Ogilvy as a dominant force in Southeast Asia’s advertising market are reflected in the promotion. Kent Wertime and Chris Reitermann, co-CEOs of Ogilvy APAC, will continue to govern the APAC region and collaborate closely with Jeswani to build the agency’s future success in Asia.
This leadership change represents a new chapter for Ogilvy in ASEAN, fitting with the company’s long-term strategy of creative growth and innovation.
