Bengaluru and US-based startup Hyperbots has secured $6.5 million in Series A funding to accelerate its mission of transforming how mid-market enterprises manage core finance and accounting operations through AI.

The funding round was co-led by Arkam Ventures and Athera Venture Partners, with additional participation from JSW Ventures, and existing backers Kalaari Capital, Sunicon Ventures, and Darashaw & Company.

Empowering Finance Teams with AI-Powered Co-Pilots

Founded in 2023 by Niyati Chhaya, Ram Jayaraman, and Rajeev Pathak, Hyperbots has built an agentic AI platform that automates critical finance tasks — including invoice processing, reconciliation, tax validation, compliance checks, and accrual management.

“Our goal is to liberate finance professionals from manual, error-prone tasks so they can focus on strategic decision-making,” said Rajeev Pathak, Co-founder and CEO of Hyperbots.

Using domain-specific, proprietary AI models and an intelligent workflow engine, Hyperbots enables straight-through processing, requiring minimal human intervention. The startup claims its tools deliver 99.8% accuracy in document processing while reducing manual workloads by up to 80%.

Introducing HyperLM: A Proprietary Finance LLM

The capital infusion will be used to expand Hyperbots’ presence in the U.S. market and launch HyperLM, a finance-focused large language model trained on extensive accounting datasets. HyperLM is designed to enhance accuracy and automation across highly complex workflows, positioning Hyperbots at the forefront of enterprise AI innovation.

Seamless Integration with Enterprise Systems

Hyperbots integrates with existing ERP, CRM, and finance systems, helping organizations modernize legacy processes without overhauling their tech stack. The platform currently supports clients across healthcare, media, EV infrastructure, retail, and real estate sectors.

With a 55-member team, primarily based in Bengaluru, Hyperbots aims to onboard over 100 enterprise clients in the current fiscal year.

Investor Confidence and Market Momentum

“We were impressed by the accuracy and depth of Hyperbots’ AI-driven suite,” said Bala Srinivasa, Managing Director at Arkam Ventures. “Their combination of technical strength and customer obsession makes them a standout player in the evolving enterprise AI space.”
