Nandita Sinha will leave her post as chief executive of Myntra. The announcement reached every shopper who relies on the site for clothes. The statement appeared on 2 April 2026. It closes a four year period during which Sinha led Myntra, India’s largest online fashion retailer.

She entered Flipkart in 2013 – roles covered furniture, customer engagement, health and beauty. She later commanded the Big Billion Days sale. She took the helm at Myntra in 2022. For a short period she also guided Flipkart Fashion before Sharon Pais took over this year. While Sinha oversaw Myntra, the platform became a major unit within Walmart supported by Flipkart. Myntra helped the group secure about half of India’s twenty-one-billion-dollar online fashion market, despite rivalry from Amazon Fashion, Reliance’s AJIO, Nykaa besides Meesho.

Figures confirm the platform’s strength, during 2025 Myntra recorded revenue of ₹6 042.7 crore, an 18 percent rise. Profit after tax reached ₹548.3 crore, a sharp increase from the year before. The results stemmed from careful product choice, rapid delivery and an effort to place fashion within reach of every buyer. Myntra introduced the M-quick-commerce service in 2024, which shortened delivery time.

Nobody has disclosed any reason behind Nandita’s exit. All that has been said that she is leaving Flipkart in the coming weeks. There has been no official statement on this from Flipkart. The most crucial aspect is handover and Sharon Pais, who was until recently the business officer for Myntra and is currently handling Flipkart Fashion, is most likely to be the CEO for Myntra. It is a move that ensures that the experience and knowledge are retained at a place where they are required.
