India-US Jet Engine Tech Transfer: Historic 80% GE F414 Deal Unlocked for Tejas Mk2

India and the US have finally nailed down the technical side of their first-ever jet engine tech transfer. Almost 80 per cent of the manufacturing secrets for GE’s F414 engine are heading to HAL, setting the stage for home-built powerplants in the Tejas Mk2.
