Saurabh Dwivedi, Editor of Lallantop and India Today Hindi, has decided to move on from the India Today Group Digital after a 12-year journey with the organization. The development was shared by Kalli Purie, Vice Chairperson of the India Today Group.
Saurabh has been closely associated with the group for over a decade and is widely seen as a homegrown editorial leader. He began his career within the India Today ecosystem through Mediaplex, later joining aajtak.in as Features Editor. Along with journalist Kamlesh, he went on to build Lallantop into one of the most influential digital platforms for young audiences in India’s Hindi heartland.
In her note, Kalli Purie spoke about Saurabh’s creative journey and his desire to explore new formats and mediums beyond the group’s current portfolio. She said she was proud of the work he had created and supportive of his decision to pursue opportunities in other fields.
Following his exit, Kuldeep Mishra will take over full responsibility for Team Lallantop’s editorial operations, while Rajat Sain will lead the Production Team. Both are part of Lallantop’s founding team and have played key roles in shaping the platform over the years.
Kuldeep is a familiar face to viewers through shows like The LT Show and Netanagari, while Rajat has guided Lallantop through several phases of production and format evolution. The leadership transition reflects a generational shift within the team, something the group leadership has described as both meaningful and exciting.
While Saurabh Dwivedi’s presence will be missed, the transition marks a new chapter for Lallantop as it continues to evolve under leaders who have grown with the platform from its earliest days.
