Hina Nagarajan Named President of Diageo Africa to Drive Strategic Growth in Key Markets

Diageo has announced the appointment of Hina Nagarajan as President of Diageo Africa, effective April 1, 2025. With a proven track record in driving growth and operational excellence, Nagarajan will lead the company’s regional markets across countries such as Ghana, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Angola, and various Indian Ocean regions.

 

Nagarajan brings more than 30 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, having previously served as the CEO and Managing Director of Diageo India. She also held the role of Managing Director for Diageo’s Africa Emerging Markets, showcasing her deep understanding of the continent’s dynamic landscape.

 

Prior to her time at Diageo, Nagarajan had a distinguished career in senior marketing and general management roles at renowned global companies, including Reckitt, Nestlé India, and Mary Kay India. She also served as Managing Director of China and Senior Vice President for North Asia at Reckitt Benckiser, underscoring her extensive international leadership expertise.

 

Her leadership appointment further emphasizes Diageo’s commitment to accelerating its presence and growth in Africa, a key region for the company. Known for her strong advocacy for diversity and inclusion, Nagarajan’s strategic vision and leadership experience will be instrumental in shaping the future of Diageo’s operations in the region.
